Syngas plans to establish a large, highly profitable clean premium diesel facility in South Australia. Coal, supplemented with non-food biomass to reduce carbon emissions, will be used as feed to the facility.

Syngas's vision is to build on this success both in Australia and Internationally.

Highlights:

1. Strong project development progress has been achieved:
    - Pre-Feasibility Study completed April 2009.
    - Base plant gasification design work in progress with technology
      provider.
    - Downstream technology licenses under negotiation.
    - Feasibility study including environmental impact work underway.
    - Access to additional Clinton coal secured June 2009, potentially
      extending project life and lowering costs.

2. Carbon Management options are being progressed:
    - Residual straw MoU May 2009.
    - Plant carbon footprint review in progress with independent
      consultants.

3. Increasing oil prices combined with increasing diesel import
    levels present a favourable Outlook for project returns.

4. Highly attractive project location with existing installed
    infrastructure including rail line, roads and power network.
